DR. MOHD FIRDAUS BIN OMAR
I'm a senior lecturer/researcher at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), specialized in polymer matrix composites (PMCs) under clasification of materials engineering. My research interest is related with high strain rates behaviour and tribology properties of PMCs. Currently, I am focusing on the synthesis and application of novel two-dimensional inorganic compound namely MXenes as promising filler in PMCs.

MY LATEST RESEARCH
Synthesis and preparation of two dimensional carbide MXene, Ti3C2 as filler in polymer composites and solder hybrid composites. This research aims to find the novel synthesis routes and also to fully characterise the capabilites of this particles as promising fillers in PMCs as well as solder hybrid composites.
